Kind of genius, but I’d still be embarrassed to play it in public.
Pleasant sounding alt-rock that’s perhaps a bit too stripped-down.
Once again, they’ve found a nice spot between quirkiness and traditional metal that only sounds like themselves.
Despite some moments of promise, most of the album is stuck in the dead zone of “complex but not interesting” prog parts.
Tool-Esque alt-prog with condensed song writing
This must be the heaviest power metal album ever recorded up till now.
