Review: Obsidian Mantra – Minds Led Astray
Eerie, groovy prog death out of Poland that is worth a listen
Eerie, groovy prog death out of Poland that is worth a listen
Just a ripping technical death metal album that does not have a single boring moment or riff. And there are a lot of riffs.
An enjoyable “instrumetal” album that manages to avoid most of the common traps of the genre.
Some good slammin’ death/deathcore jams with some extra spice thrown in.
The Good, The Bad, and The Psychedelic Spaghetti Western Post-Rock
Despite some moments of promise, most of the album is stuck in the dead zone of “complex but not interesting” prog parts.
A sci-fi adventure through time and space, inspired by tech death oldies like Death and Atheist.
