Review: Mindwork – Adrift

The Czech prog metal band Mindwork comes back with a heavy concept album.

This album is a rewarding challenge for any fan of avant-garde black metal.

TOOH much, not enough.

Well, gentlemen, a great deal of money has been invested in this project and we can’t allow it to fail.

I have very positive feelings about this one; I’ve really bonded with it.

A passable assortment of much-too-similar songs that fail to make an impact

A gem of energetic 70s fusion from Czechoslovakia.

Long, daring, and with an unexpected (yet welcome) organ.
