Review: Deafheaven – Lonely People with Power
These people… are lonely…. and they…. have power….
Oh and they made this year’s best album too, I guess.
Review: Scimitar – Scimitarium I
Curved. Swords.
Review: Dessiderium – Keys to the Palace
One of my most anticipated records of the year.
Review: Lorem Ipsum – Même Quand ta Main Quittera la Mienne
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet
Review: Everon – Shells
Even though we were still using flip phones the last time we heard from [Everon], Shells has lost none of the band’s old lustre.
Review: Wardruna – Birna
Modern-day folk for the average bear.
Missed Album Review: Melehan – Immaterial Eden
Symphonic and progressive death metal fans, rejoice! A must-listen, this album crosses every sharp and dots every quarter note.
Review: Kyros – Fear & Love
The end of an album cycle in mind
Review: Iotunn – Kinship
Singer man is melodramatic and double bass goes blast blast blast and solos go weedly.
Review: DGM – Endless
Italy’s DGM embrace new and varied influences to enhance their signature progressive metal sound.
