Review: Aural Cadence – Aural Cadence
Great melody, excellent instrumental harmony, sappy vocals; is this not par for the course in most traditional prog metal?

A loud and bombastic prog metal album with Ghost-esque pop elements.
WAIT produce a fairly interesting and unexpected djent inspired album. If you can handle the repetitive chugs, you can handle the WAIT.
A glimpse into 90s death-doom from rose colored glasses.
This is another excellent album to come out of Pelagic Records; it’s angry, sophisticated, and heavy like an organized crate of bricks.
Others By No One releases a whale of an album that is just as incomprehensible as it is ingenious, combining zany elements throughout the prog sphere.
This is an incredible piece of instrumental songwriting and musicianship. Coevality bring the best of both worlds, soothing atmospheres and catchy melodies, as well as genuinely impressive mechanical skill. This is a true hidden gem that hits you like a breath of fresh air, and is an album to celebrate.
For those who like power metal, this is an exceptional release. For those who like technical power metal, this may be one of the greatest power metal albums ever.
I cannot think of a better example of a “hit or miss” album than this. Fans of Katatonia and Agalloch should check this one out.
Looks like there is djent from China now. Is it good? Yes. But is it unique enough to stand out amongst the wave of instrudjental solo artists? Ehhh…
